Food Insecurity in High Income Countries: September 2016

Despite a concerted research effort internationally, the issue of food and nutrition insecurity remains off the policy agenda in high-income countries. A group of select international experts and developing experts will come together to:

  • Prioritise the pressing or salient issues related to food insecurity in high income countries.
  • Re-frame the issue of food insecurity to advocate for action in the prevention and alleviation of food insecurity in high income countries.
  • Develop a program of international research that address key policy/practice questions to progress the issue.
