I am a professor in the Statistics department at the University of Warwick. My research interests lie mostly in probability theory, and include: random processes, stochastic geometry, stochastic calculus, computer algebra in statistics and probability, and perfect simulation.
Teaching and Related Matters, 2009/2010I shall be teaching the following lecture courses in term 2 of this year:
My office is Room C0.17 in the Mathematics and Statistics Building. Office hours in Term 2 (2009-2010) are Tuesdays 1230-1330 and Thursdays 1230-1330 (not weeks 1 or 10). Recent publicationsHere is a list of my Warwick preprints, with links to abstracts
Here is a page for New Perspectives on Stochastic Geometry (co-edited with Ilya Molchanov). I have also made available some collections of slides for recent talks. Seminars and reading groups at Warwick StatisticsBack in 1988 I founded the Midlands Probability Theory Seminars. The Probability at Warwick initiative P@W now collects together this and a number of other activities related to the probability research community. The main Statistics (CRiSM) Seminars are run by John Aston. Other activityHere are some links relevant to my editing and other activity in the world of statistics and probability. I am an associate editor for the following journals and monograph series:
