Getting to Warwick Systems Biology Centre

The Centre is situated in newly renovated accommodation on the top floor of Coventry House, at the heart of the pleasant greenfield site of the University of Warwick, between Coventry and Kenilworth, just three miles from Coventry city centre.

Coventry House

Coventry House is situated immediately next door to and between Car Park 7 (Multi-Storey) and the Warwick Arts Centre. The lower two floors are the home of the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, the top floor is split between the Molecular Organisation and Assembly of Cells (MOAC) Doctoral Training Centre and the Warwick Systems Biology Centre.

Travelling by car

On approaches to Coventry, just follow the signs to Warwick Arts Centre or the University of Warwick.

From Coventry - take the Kenilworth Road (A429) and turn right along Gibbet Hill Road about 3 miles from the city centre.

From Leamington Spa - take the A452 towards Kenilworth, join the A46 north and exit at the next junction marked University of Warwick.

From Warwick - take the A452 from the centre of Warwick to the A46 and head North until you reach the junction marked University of Warwick.

From Stratford & Banbury - leave the M40 at junction 15, join the A46 and exit at the junction marked University of Warwick.

From Birmingham/Solihull - take the A45 to Coventry. Once in Coventry, turn right off the A45 at the first roundabout after the traffic lights, signposted University of Warwick.

From Leicester and Nuneaton - travel South on the A46, then A45 and rejoin the A46 South. Leave the A46 at the junction signposted University of Warwick.

Parking

There are over 2000 safe parking spaces very near to the Centre. Follow the signs for car parks 7 or 8 when you arrive and you will only be three minutes away. Monday - Friday 6am - 6pm charges are: £1.50 for up to 4 hours and £3.00 for over 4 hours. Monday - Friday: after 6pm free / Saturday & Sunday: all day free.

Travelling by bus

Regular services run between Coventry, Leamington and Kenilworth to the University of Warwick and drop you right outside the Centre.

You can catch the Travel West Midlands services 12 and 12A, or Stagecoach services U1.

Network West Midlands

Travelling by train

The nearest mainline station is Coventry. From Coventry station you can catch a No. 112 or 12 bus, which takes approximately 15 minutes, or a taxi. For further information, visit the National Rail Enquiries website.

Taxis

There is a taxi rank situated beside the Rootes Building on the road directly opposite the main entrance to the Centre. (On this map, we are building 14, the taxi rank is beside building 51.)
