About Me
I am currently working with Prof. David Rand and Dr. Sascha Ott as a research fellow in mathematical analysis of regulatory and signalling networks.
I obtained my PhD at the University of Warwick. My thesis supervisor was Dr Alexander Tiskin. My thesis topics are parallel algorithms and methods for efficient parallel programming. I also did an M.Sc. by research here, which I finished in 2005. The title of the M.Sc. thesis is Experimental Evaluation of BSP Algorithms. More about this can be found at the research page here.
Before that, I was a student at Chemnitz University in Germany. My final year project on Ant Colony Optimisation (in German) was done at the Chair of Modeling and Simulation. The title of my diploma thesis was Simulationsbasierte Experimentplanung bei parallelen Reaktorsystemen (Simulation-based planning of experiments for parallel reactor systems).
