Carol is responsible for the day to day management of the Research Imaging facilities at Warwick HRI. Her main role is to ensure that both scanning and transmission electron microscopes are available for researchers and to assist with light microscopy and photographic requirements; but with over 25 years experience working on a wide range of horticultural research projects she is also able to provide advice on appropriate sampling and preparation methods. Specialist skills are ultra-thin sectioning, immuno-gold labelling and cryo-SEM.
