Bringing Manufacturing Technologies to Life Seminar
International Digital Laboratory, WMG, University of Warwick

This joint event between The IET, IMechE and IoD is about how to convert ideas into successful commercialisation, getting all the right ingredients and methods together for a successful and highly productive business. It's an open learning forum where decision makers, engineers and manufacturers can learn from each other. In addition we will learn what funding is available, success stories in applying innovation in different sectors and some comparison of investment with other countries, in particular Germany.

There will also be a chance to raise the challenges that faced by manufacturers and industry directly to Chris White MP, the Co-Chair for the All-Party Parliamentary Manufacturing Group.

Harnessing the potential of Industry 4.0; How ready are you?

Join us for our second open networking event of 2017 on the topic of Industry 4.0.

The term Industry 4.0 originates from the high-tech strategy of the German government, which sought to redefine the role of manufacturing post global economic downturn. It suggests that we are on the cusp of the 4th Industrial Revolution, a cyber-physical age which will be realised over the next 20 years.

At this event we will assess the readiness of different countries, industries and business types to embrace the opportunities of the cyber-physical age, by evaluating the results of our online survey.

To assess your organisations readiness for Industry 4.0 complete the survey here.

For updates and more information visit our Supply Chains in Practice (SCIP) website.
