Be part of the H.A.T revolution!
The Service Systems group is inviting businesses and SMEs to attend the official launch of the H.A.T project (Hub-of-all-Things), a £1.2m multi-disciplinary project funded by the Research Councils UK Digital Economy Programme.
The two-year project, which begins on June 2013, involves a team of 20 researchers from the domains of Economics, Business, Computing and the Arts across six UK universities of Cambridge, Edinburgh, Exeter, Nottingham, Warwick and the West of England.
The event will provide you with the opportunity to meet the H.A.T. research team as well as to discover the plans and ambitions for the project, as the team begins the process of building a diverse community of stakeholders around the H.A.T.

This seminar day will include key note presentations from James Buchanan, Product Development Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover and Dr. Greg Gibbons, Head of Additive Layer Manufacturing Research at Warwick Manufacturing Group. The event, run jointly by MTA and WMG, is a must for manufacturers especially those in the automotive sector or based in the West Midlands. It will provide a rare opportunity to find out how ALM technology is applied in one of Britain’s most innovative automotive manufacturers and will also offer the opportunity to find out about the support for small businesses that WMG are offering at the International Institute for Product and Service Innovation.

Using MAS's New Product Development Gateway tool, the workshop will explore critical areas that need attention when developing new products across marketing, manufacture, product, finance and business.

The WMG SME Team are hosting an evening of networking for regional businesses, partners and University staff. It will provide attendees with the chance to meet new faces, build business and partnership opportunities while finding out about the latest development at WMG - The International Institute for Product and Service Innovation (IIPSI).
During the networking evening you will be able to speak to members of the WMG SME team as well as companies that have already worked with the team on successful projects. You will also have the opportunity to have a tour around the building to see what technology we have availble for businesses to use.
