WMG and the National Defence University of Malaysia sign memorandum of understanding
WMG welcomed a senior delegation from the National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM). WMG is close to finalising an agreement with NDUM to deliver a defence specific variation of its world renowned Engineering Business Management MSc. Along with WMG and NDUM, Cranfield University is also involved in the collaboration.
The delegation were here on a two day lecturer’s workshop, allowing colleagues from WMG, Cranfield and NDUM to meet and discuss the programme design for the MSc.
The programme has been developed through a partnership with Thales and the Malaysian government. Senior delegates, Lt Jen Dato’ Wira Allatif bin Mohd Noor the Vice Chancellor and Dato’ Jesbil Singh the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Industry Relations and Corporate Affairs along with Professor Lord Bhattacharyya signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
In welcoming the delegation Professor Lord Bhattacharyya said how pleased he was that these complex negotiations had borne fruit and WMG looked forward to developing a long and mutually beneficial relationship with NDUM.
