The Centre
We are an international centre, engaged in a wide range of teaching, research and consultancy activities that focus on language, culture and pedagogy. Our language and communication work is wide-ranging: we study how to learn language, how to analyse it, how to teach it and how to use it, especially in professional and intercultural contexts. Over the years, our students have come from more than one hundred different countries, and all our staff have lived and worked outside the UK.
As an international centre, we welcome opportunities for international collaboration, and welcome visitors, students, teachers and researchers from around the world.
