Research Methodology
An introduction to research methods used within the range of disciplines relevant to ELT. It begins during the first term and continues into the second term. The aim is to familiarise students with a broad range of types of research and to enable them to understand characteristic approaches to the collection, analysis and interpretation of data. It is also to prepare students to carry out research for the dissertation with the support of a supervisor.
