Centre for Applied Linguistics International Research Circle for Autonomous Learning

CIRCAL was constituted in March 2006. We are a discussion and research group, open to visiting researchers but with a core of staff and research student members within the Centre for Applied Linguistics. We participate in the Sheffield, Warwick, Open University, Nottingham Autonomy Network (SWON), together with colleagues researching learner autonomy at the Universities of Nottingham and Sheffield and the Open University.
