BA Linguistics with a Modern Language

Love learning languages and about how language works?

If so, then this BA is designed for you. Interdisciplinarity is at the heart of this degree: you'll study with the Centre for Applied Linguistics and the School of Modern Languages and in doing so you'll gain expertise in the study of linguistics and gain a very strong language foundation (available language study options are French, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese or Japanese).

Want to apply what you have been learning on your degree while living and studying abroad?

Great, because while studying with us you'll also be able to broaden your experiences with a planned year of study and/or work placement abroad.

Key reasons to take the course
