    ETHNIC MINORITY UNDERGRADUATE SCHEME (EMUS)

Researchers: Susan Band and Andrew Parker

In May 2000 CEDAR were commissioned to carry out an evaluation of the National Mentoring Consortium's Ethnic Minority Undergraduate Scheme (EMUS) between May 2000 and May 2001. The scheme seeks to help undergraduates from ethnic minority backgrounds fulfil their educational potential within the context of higher education and also to aid their transition into the graduate labour market. In doing so it works on a mentor/mentee basis and links in to mentor provision from key companies and organisations. The project ended early in 2002.
