Welcome to the Centre for Education and Industry (CEI) at the University of Warwick.

 This year marks the 21^st anniversary of our foundation at the University.  Since then we have established our reputation as a leading Centre, both nationally and internationally, for research and teaching in the area of work-related learning, vocational education and training, and enterprise education.

 Through our wide range of research, evaluation and training activities we aim to:

•   improve knowledge and understanding of the ways in which work-related and vocational learning can enhance skills, capabilities and the motivation to learn for young people;
•  evaluate policies, strategies and programmes designed to engage both young people and employers in education and training;
•   extend the range of activities through which schools, colleges, training providers and employers can work together to deliver work-related learning and vocational education.

Twelve research staff, including our regional directors, work with a wide range of clients, including DCSF, QCDA, Ofqual, LSIS, and the European Commission.  If you would like to know more about what they do, or their research interests, please have a look at the Staff page.
