Save the date: Dr Rachel King Turner's impact to be showcased

Dr Rachel King-Turner has been leading and collaborating on two key Climate Education impact projects that will be showcased on Thursday February 2nd 2023 in the Warwick Arts Centre. There will also be guest speakers from across Coventry - More details soon.

Academic visitor from Brazil - Dr Telma Para

The department will soon welcome an academic visitor from Brazil, Dr Telma Para, for 6 months (Feb-July) to study the ways in which we at Warwick have developed tools and strategies to address maths anxiety in schools, colleges and universities. In Brazil, Dr. Palma is working with Prof Joao dos Santos Carmo from Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar). Joao has previously developed a more intense intervention for very highly maths anxious students who need a more specialist intervention

Professor Chris Brown awarded partner in £2.7m EU grant

  • Chris Brown is Co-investigator in the (£2.7m) project MEthodology of Psycho-pedagogical, Big Data and Commercial Video GAmes procedures for the European SKILLS Agenda Implementation (MEGASkills) (2023 - 2026), funded by the EU Horizon Europe Framework Programme (Horizon 2022). The project will start in February 2023.
