The next ‘Lunch and Learn’ event for PGT and PGR students will take place on Thursday 16th March 12.30-2.30pm Venue: S1.50, Social Sciences Building focused on the topic "Embarking on a PhD”.

This event aims to provide some information and suggestions to PGT students who are interested in studying a PhD programme.

Current PGR students will share their understanding and experience of:
1) How to apply for a PhD program?
2) What does a PhD entail?: Milestones and Challenges; and
3) Work of current PGR students.
Q&A and flexible discussions will also be included after the presentations.
Moreover, Dr Micheal Hammond, Director of Research Students, will highlight 'Potential areas of interest in the department for supervising research’.
