After the presentations you will be asked to discuss the ideas which have arisen for you in groups. Some issues you might want to think about are:

• responses to the ideas put forward by the speakers?
  
• your own notion of what is a theory?
  
• your own thoughts on the value of theory in understanding ICT?

• do we need a theory about using ICT in education or ‘simply’ to adapt a theory of teaching and learning?

• what you have found ‘interesting theories’ in exploring the use of ICT?

 

Rather than a flip chart presentation could you post some thoughts to the blog and respond to one or two of the other participant postings.
