After each placement, school mentors, link tutors and trainees are invited to complete an evaluation of the placement. This feedback contributes to the Centre’s quality assurance processes with the aim of improving practice and provision for current schools, link tutors and trainees.
Ultimately, the aim is to improve student outcomes for the benefit of future schools and children with whom the trainee or newly qualified teacher will work.

What happens to the feedback?

All feedback is considered by the Evaluation Committee and data from trainees, schools, and link tutors is triangulated to give a holistic picture. Particular consideration is given to grades of 3 or below and rapid support put in place to ensure improved outcomes.
