    Huw Edwards

    Huw Edwards was a research fellow at the centre between 1999 and 2004. He has a number of research interests relevant to the centre's work, including:
    - the relationship of globalisation to wage inequality in advanced countries.
    - the economics of integration of trade blocs, particularly with respect to removal of non-tariff barriers.
    - the role of search theory and networking in determining international trade patterns.
    - the effects of interaction of different national and international cultural signals.
    - the economics of restructuring of previously autarkic planned economies.
    - assimilationist models of development.
    - global and regional environmental policies and permit trading schemes.
    Huw is currently a lecturer at Loughborough University. He is also involved in the CRISS-INEQ project, as a fellow of the Kiel Institute for World Economics. To consult Huw's most research activities and publications, please access his personal webpage.
