Dr. Rocío Valdivielso del Real has served as a Lecturer in Public Policy and Public Administration at Carlos III University of Madrid and Lecturer of Comparative Political Systems at UNED ( Spanish Learning Distance University ). She holds a PhD in Political Science at Complutense University . She recently gained a second PhD in Management/Business at the University of London : “The Evolution of the Spanish and British Electricity Sectors: An Analysis of the Market for Corporate Control and Human Resource Management Practices in a Liberalised Environment” (November 2009). Rocio’s interest include: varieties of capitalism, corporate governance and international business strategy, institutional change, political economy of energy in Britain and Spain, and global energy governance.
