Lectures and seminars

Lectures

Modules taught by the Department of Economics begin with the code 'EC'. The next part of the code tells you the year in which you take the module. For example, EC104 is a year 1 module taught by the Department of Economics.

Lectures for all EC100-coded modules will begin from Monday 2 October 2023 (Academic Week 1), you will be able to view these on tabula. Details of the core modules for your degree can be found in the Undergraduate Handbook 2023-24 which will be published online w/c 25 September.

Seminars

Support and Feedback classes for all EC100-coded modules will begin week commencing Monday 16 October 2023. (Academic Week 3). You will either have been allocated to a group or asked to sign up to a group through Tabula.

Support and Feedback classes will either be weekly or fortnightly and you will typically receive work in advance which should be completed in preparation for discussion in the classes. Additional questions or case studies will also be given to you during your classes, where you will have time to work on and present them to the class. Moodle forums are also available for modules where you can discuss the contents of lectures, classes and readings and these are monitored daily.
