Increasing numbers of home owners significantly impact the labour market, according to new research from Andrew Oswald. 'Does high home ownership impair the labour market?' - a new working paper released this week by Andrew and co-author, David Blanchflower of Dartmouth College - looked at over a century of US housing and labour market statistics and found a correlation between increasing home ownership and a later rise in unemployment.
