World-renowned Professor of Social and Natural Science at Yale University lectures on ‘The Structure and Function of Human Social Networks’.

On Wednesday 22nd October, Professor Nicholas Christakis (Yale) visited the Warwick Department of Economics to deliver a distinguished lecture and engage with both postgraduate students and academics.

During the day, Nicholas took part in an informal lunchtime discussion that was chaired by Professor Andrew Oswald, in which a range of topics were discussed such as modern social science and Nicholas's work on genetics and economics.

Professor Christakis then delivered an engaging and entertaining lecture to an audience of students and staff in the Warwick Arts Centre, and answered a number of questions from students following his lecture.
