Success for Dr Daniel Sgroi in the Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence

Dr Daniel Sgroi, Associate Professor and CAGE Theme Leader, has received a commendation in the Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence (WATE) 2015.

The awards recognise and celebrate excellence in teaching and support for learning at Warwick. Daniel will receive £2000 to further enhance his teaching practice and learning activities. On receiving the commendation, he said:

I am very pleased to have been commended in this way by the University, which is also a testament to the superb teaching support provided by the Department and the outstanding quality of our students."

Daniel was nominated for the award by colleagues in the Department. Professor Abhinay Muthoo, Head of Department, said:

I am delighted at Daniel’s commendation in the Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence; it is thoroughly merited and I would like to offer my congratulations to Daniel. This is a great achievement for both Daniel and for the Department.”
