High student response rate in first week of NSS 2016

The National Students Survey (NSS) is widely recognised as a key measure of student satisfaction.

After only three days of the survey being open, the Department of Economics’ NSS response rate was 42.6%. This was our highest ever response rate at this point in the survey, making Economics the third highest responding department at Warwick.

The results of the NSS are highly visible and often reported in the media and used by prospective students to help make their university choices. We listen carefully to the feedback received from the NSS and what is said and the views received help shape the future of Economics in the Department and The University of Warwick.

For this reason, we want to hear from as many students as possible, and last year the response rate of Warwick Economics students was 83.62%, an increase from 83% in 2014 and 82% in 2013.

If we achieve 75% within the first 4 weeks of the survey opening all final year students in Economics will be entered into a prize draw to win one of 4 pairs of Graduation Ball tickets. If we meet or exceed 83% by the end of the survey all of the final year students will be entered into a prize draw to win one of 4x £150 vouchers for Red Letter Days; exciting experiences include driving experiences, pamper days, hotel breaks, Shard experiences and many more.

Final year students that complete the NSS can also claim a £5 Warwick Food and Drink voucher.
