Leverhulme Lectures

Each year the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick holds the Leverhume Lecture in Industrial Economics. The Leverhulme Lecture invites a distinguished scholar in Industrial Economics to present a summary of his/her recent research in an area of active development in the field.


The 2010 Leverhume Lecture is being given on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 by Professor Lanier Benkard of the Yale University Department of Economics.


The title of his talk is "Markov Perfect Industry Dynamics: Recent Advances in Applications of Dynamic Oligopoly Models".


Lanier will also be holding a workshop on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. in S2.79. See the link above for further details about this workshop.
