Improving understanding of 'quality' part-time work: definitions and what works

The aim of this project is to define and set out what is known about “quality part-time” work based on a review of the evidence; to explore the pilots commissioned from the Quality Part-time Work Fund to find out what has and what has not worked, as well as why and how; and to identify and assess practical lessons from the increased availability of part-time work during the current recession, which could then be adopted by organisations after the recession. The study will involve both desk-based research and primary data collection.
