Multicultural Scholars Programme

Multicultural Scholars Programme (MSP)

MSP was initiated in 2005 from the generosity of two donors to provide academic, financial and careers support for students from under represented ethnic groups in Higher Education and the Legal Profession. MSP is fully integrated into Warwick Law School, and the programme is now supported by an impressive range of Law Firms, Chambers, Organisations focusing on increasing diversity in the legal sector and beyond, as well as alumni.

So far, over 130 scholars have graduated from Warwick Law School and have gone on to pursue successful careers in Law, and other graduate professions.

We currently have 35 MSP scholars in the Law School with approximately 10 places available for students starting their Law degree with us each year.

What do scholars receive?

  • A dedicated personal tutor
  • Bespoke careers support
  • Mentoring within the University and from Alumni
  • Career and networking events
  • Talks and workshops from guest speakers, providing an insight into a range of opportunities and careers in the Legal and International Development sectors
  • Termly socials with your fellow scholars - previous events include theatre trips, escape rooms, go-karting, ice skating and mini golf.
  • Trips to Law Firms and Chambers

Scholars starting their degrees between 2005/06 and 2019/20 received a bursary. Unfortunately this bursary is no longer available to new scholars.
