Research Associate Position
The Centre has introduced a new position of 'Internship Associate' which provides the opportunity for individuals to engage with research and project assistance for various elements of the Centre's work. This is a new position and thus we expect the roles and responsibilities attached to this position to develop with time. This is something we hope to be able to continue to offer as and when the need arises.
Former Research Associate 2011
Rahul Advani
Rahul recently graduated on the LLB programme at Warwick. As part of the Human Rights in Practice Module, he co-founded and designed an original human rights campaign, 'Warwick STOP (Stop Trafficking of People)', which used social media and other creative means to generate awareness about the human rights implications of sex trafficking. The campaign helped collect signatures for Anti-Slavery UK's petition in favour of the UK Goverment opting in to the new EU anti-trafficking directive.
As a professional singer in Singapore, Rahul has performed in many concerts to raise funds for various charities including the Red Cross, Operation Smile and the School Pocket Money Fund. He also regularly volunteers at homes for the elderly and children around Singapore.
