Warwick in India Workshop

Location: Chinar Hall, Habitat World at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, India

There will be a two day workshop bringing together colleagues from Warwick and India to discuss and develop further their collaborative action research project relating to girl’s education in Haryana.

30th September 2016 - 10.00-18.00

1st October 2016 - 10.00-18.00

Those attending include Professor Nandini Manjrekar (TATA Institute of Social Sciences Mumbai); Dr Manish Jain Ambedkar (University New Delhi); Ian Abbott and Dr Emily Henderson (Centre for Education Studies) and Professor Ann Stewart (Law School, University of Warwick); Sumir Karayi (CEO IE) and Corrie Pope (IE).

 We will be developing further our British Academy Global Challenges Research Fund submission entitled: ‘What does a right to education mean for girls in Haryana? Designing an action research project to answer this question’ which is designed to contribute to the development of the overall project.
