Paralegal Jobs Event - Immediate career opportunities for finalist Law students
Ever considered becoming a paralegal? What’s involved? Is it a career path?
A paralegal works with qualified lawyers (normally solicitors) typically handling a fairly focused range of work, often with support from a case management system (a computer program designed to streamline elements of legal work). Typically paralegals have real responsibility and they often do work which would historically have been handled by trainees. Different opportunities exist in different work areas and different types of firms.
So what’s happening at the event?
You will get the chance to meet a legal recruiters who handle paralegal opportunities as well as a number of law firms looking to recruit paralegals and other roles now. You can:
- Meet and network with law firms and agencies with live job vacancies
- Find out much more about becoming a paralegal and how to apply
- Might even find yourself interviewed “on the day” for a job
