    Frequently asked questionsEthiopia Project

Warwick University is ranked as one of the top academic institutions in the United Kingdom. The Law School at Warwick is also consistently regarded as one of the leading law schools in UK, achieving top scores for its scholarship, the quality of its teaching and its overall facilities. Three themes characterise our commitment to legal scholarship: critical analysis, contextual analysis and internationalism.

Our postgraduate community reflects the Warwick Law School approach: a corpus of around 150 talented, successful individuals of tremendous diversity of background and experience. Our approach has also been rewarded through our high research rating and the national recognition of our teaching excellence. We are engaged in many projects with governments, major international organisations, NGOs and other academic institutions worldwide. These all contribute to the rich learning environment our students enjoy.

    Doctoral Training Centre

The Social Science Faculty of the University of Warwick has been successful in securing 27 studentships for its ESRC Doctoral Training Centre (DTC). The DTC is a centre of excellence that encourages interdisciplinary training and research, as well as collaboration with public, private and third sector organisations. There are two possible pathways for Law applicants: Socio-Legal Studies or Security, Conflict and Justice.

For further information and details of how to apply, see the DTC website
