On 3 May 2007 the Law School, with the support of the University’s Careers Services, hosted the first high profile Networking event for LLM students and top law firms based in the UK. The firms that participated in the event included Clifford Chance, Herbert Smith, Linklaters, Allen & Overy, Lovells and Eversheds. The evening was a great success. It provided Warwick students with the opportunity to meet partners, associates and trainees from some of the largest and most global law firms in the world. A special bonus of the evening was that some of the lawyers who participated in this event hold either LLB or LLM degrees from Warwick. The representatives of the firms told us that they enjoyed meeting such a diverse and international group of lawyers. They also appreciated the opportunity to talk to our students in an informal setting. The feedback on the event from students was excellent.
