Centre Submission to Parliamentary Inquiry on Business and Human Rights Published

The Centre for Human Right's submission to the inquiry by the Joint Committee on Human Rights has been published today. The inquiry is looking at the steps the Government has taken to monitor compliance with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

The Centre's submission argues that there are significant concerns about the practice of human rights reporting by UK (and other) multinational corporations, and that UK government is not doing enough to stimulate more transparent, robust and cohesive practice. Other submissions to the inquiry can be found here.
