    Widening Access

The Law School is committed to ensuring that all students with the ability to succeed on our degree programmes have the opportunity to demonstrate their potential. We believe that many students have the ability and potential to succeed at Warwick and that this ability is not always reflected solely in examination results. We look at the whole profile of our applicants, including academic qualifications and predicted grades, but also the information included in the personal statement and academic reference. The Law School allows applicants the chance to provide extra evidence of their achievements and potential beyond what is on the UCAS form, information from their school or college, and possibly an interview or a piece of written work.

Funding may also be available http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/academicoffice/funding/undergraduate/ and http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/apply/awards/

Pathways to Law aims to give students and their families the information, advice and guidance they need to succeed in not only the study of law, but also a career in law. Students join the programme at the end of Year 11 and carry on until the end of Year 13. During their time on the programme they will be invited to law taster sessions, careers information events, university advice sessions and mock trials. Pathways to Law students will also get the opportunity to go on a law work shadowing (during a half term break) and will be given a law mentor to answer any queries they may have.

Once accepted on a law programme, students may apply for a scholarship as part of the Multi-cultural Scholars' Scheme http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/law/multi

The School welcomes applications not only from mature students, but also from students wishing to study part time.
