    Dr Sow Keat Tok is current research fellow and editor of the working paper series in CSGR. Dr Tok graduated from the PAIS in 2011, and was previously associated with East Asian Institute, National University of Singapore (2004-2005), and China Policy Institute, University of Nottingham (2005-2007).

    Research interests

    At present, he is working on China and its policy behaviour towards "sovereignty," with particular attention to China-HKSAR and China-Taiwan relations. His other research interests include China's domestic and foreign policy, leadership politics and central-local relations in China, international politics and political economy of East Asia, the influence of history/culture in politics, and international relations theory.

    Teaching and supervision

    Dr Tok is currently the module director for PO902 East Asian Development Models in the MA program.
