There are two kinds of open days: Philosophy Department open days and University open days.

Philosophy Department open days are for students who have received an offer for any Philosophy degree course. They are held in January and March.

University open days are for students considering applying to Warwick. They are held twice a year in Spring and Autumn.

If you have already been invited to a Philosophy Department open day, please let us know which day you will attend by registering.

Philosophy Department Open Days

If you receive an offer for a degree programme offered by the Philosophy Department at Warwick, we will invite you to attend one of the departmental open days on 25th January 2012, 7th March 2012 or 14th March 2012. Our aim is to give you a clear idea of how we teach philosophy, the facilities on offer, most importantly, what our teaching staff and students are like to work with.

If you visit to the Philosophy Department, we offer

• Comprehensive information about the degree programmes
• Opportunities to ask questions
• A sample philosophy lecture
• A campus tour led by our current undergraduate students
• ... and most important of all, a chance to meet staff and students

University of Warwick Open Days

University Open Days are held twice a year, one in the Spring and one in the Autumn. Online booking will open approximately four weeks before the event.

These University Open Days are designed for students starting to think about which degree courses interest them and where to apply. The Philosophy Department holds 'open house' on these days when you can meet members of staff and attend a talk about studying philosophy at Warwick.
