Welcome to the BASAS Annual Conference 2010 website!

We are delighted to announce that the BASAS Annual Conference 2010 will take place at the University of Warwick.

Key Dates

Delegates are invited to submit proposals for panels (3 papers per panel) or proposals for individual papers. The convenors especially welcome submissions on the theme 'Landscapes of the Imagination and South Asia'.

• Deadline for panel/ paper proposals: Friday 18 December 2009 extended to Friday 15 January!
• Publication of provisional programme: Friday 22 January 2010 Tuesday 26 January!
• Registration deadline: Friday 5 February 2010 extended to Friday 19 February!

Keynote Speaker

The keynote speaker on the evening of Tuesday 30 March will be Professor Catherine Hall (University College London). She will speak on the theme: "Macaulay: writing history, writing Inda".
