Annual Study Visit - Copenhagen, Denmark

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: VISIT THIS WEBSITE TO FIND OUT THE VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTERING DENMARK - http://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-us/coming_to_dk/visa/need_visa/who_needs_visa.htm

Our hosts for this year's Study Visit were from the Sociology Department at the University of Copenhagen.

The visit to Copehagen took place over March 11th – 16th 2011 (week 10 of term 2).

The trip was open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students registered on one of our courses (both single and joint honours). The cost of the trip was £250 which included return travel (flights from Manchester to Copenhagen and coach transfers to and from both airports) and 5 nights hotel accommodation on a bed & breakfast basis at the Copenhagen Strand, located near the city centre.

The itinerary for the week was a combination of academic activities, excursions and free time. There was also an opportunity to meet informally with some of the Wroclaw students.
