MA Gender and International Development (and PgD)

Assessment for the MA is by five essays of 5,000 words each, or equivalent, plus a dissertation of 15,000 words. Completion of coursework to the satisfaction of the examiners will permit the candidate to proceed to the dissertation. Successful completion of assessed module work and dissertation will lead to the award of MA in Gender and International Development. Successful completion of the assessed module work alone will lead to the award of the Postgraduate Diploma in Gender and International Development.

It is compulsory for students to complete the coursework for a module in the year in which they take it.
