The University operates a permit/pay and display system for the majority of its car parks. Permit application forms are available from parking@warwick.ac.uk your salary will be debited and your university card will then be activated to use the swipe or proximity card reader in the car parks all over campus. The School has space that can be used by staff co-ordinating modules at distant sites to enable free access to load/unload materials but as this space is also for visitors they should not be used for all day parking.

There are a limited number of parking spaces at the front entrance of Scarman Road, that can be pre-booked by staff for their visitors. This is administered by Reception (24306) at Scarman Road, who will explain the system and issue a permit on arrival to display in the car. Disabled spaces may only be used by those displaying a valid permit and also by prior arrangement with Reception staff. Non-disabled spaces may be used by staff outside of Reception hours (08.30-17.30) on an ad-hoc basis, but vehicles must not ever be left overnight. Motocycles may only use designated car parking bays and Penalty notices will be issued to any found in other areas.

There is a taxi rank near the Piazza/Rootes Social Building on central campus but you may prefer to phone for one from reception in advance when required.
