Neither the university nor WBS have a licence for Microsoft Project. Groups within WBS can purchase individual copies of Microsoft Project for use by their staff at a reduced price through the Microsoft Campus Agreement.

Project comes in two versions- Standard and Professional. The later version is part of Microsoft's Enterprise Project Management system and is not expected to be suitable for WBS. Please ensure you order a licence for Project 2007 Standard.

The price (last checked October 2007) for Microsoft Project Standard 2007 is GBP47. Staff can obtain the very latest price by contacting our account manager on Karen.jongens@civica.co.uk

To obtain a copy staff should:

• Complete a Purchase Requisition form for the latest price (there is no need to purchase a CD as we already have one)
• Ensure the delivery details are set to be Martin Chandler
• Have the form 'signed' by a budget holder in your group
• Have the budget holder forward the form to the Finance Office and CC martin.chandler@wbs.ac.uk .

The Finance Office will place the order. Once the licence information arrives in ISSU the application will be made available to you via WBS Applications.
