Scenario

When trying to run the MIS you receive an error. If checked carefully the error will typically mention a problem with the ‘ Borland Database Engine’ or BDE, e.g.

'mislocal.exe at 000D2332. An error occurred while attempting to initialize the Borland Database Engine (error $2108)'

Solution

• Find the ‘Installing Borland Database Engine’ in the ‘WBS Admin’ folder of WBS-Applications
  
  
• Right-click on the icon and select ‘Verify’ from the pop up menu.
  
  
• Wait until the installation is complete and the try the MIS again.
