You are having problems accessing the EQL software. Below is a list of tips that may resolve your problem. This list will be added to as more information about EQL becomes available.
I click the link on my.wbs to access EQL, but I can’t access it
Can I use the EQL software on a Macintosh computer?
- The company that makes EQL say that it is not possible to run the software on a Mac despite the existence of the Authorware player for Macs. If you are able to get it working, then please let us know.
Can I use EQL with Firefox?
I receive an error message: "PluginLaunch: Acces is Denied"
- This issue only appears to affect the latest Vista-based version of Internet Explorer and is related to the way IE passes data from one web-site to another in "Protected Mode". To solve the problem please try teh following:

In Internet Explorer go to Tools > Internet Options and navigate to the Security tab. From here, you need to add "my.wbs.ac.uk" to your list of "Trusted sites" and also disable "Protected mode" for this zone - click Trusted sites" > Add, uncheck the box that says "Require server verification...", type in "my.wbs.ac.uk" into the box and click OK. Then deselect the option "Run in Protected Mode" for the trusted sites zone.

At this point, it would be a good idea to restart Internet Explorer and navigate back to my.wbs, which will now open in a new window with a security notification from Windows which you can elect not to receive again. The EQL courseware should now run correctly.
I have tried the above but it is still not working
- Please try another computer. If the second computer works then you may wish to do the following depending on the ownership of the first/broken computer. If this first computer is an open-access Warwick computer then contact the IT Services Servicedesk to report it as broken. If the first computer is your own computer and you live on campus you may want to try the free 'Privately owned systems support' service offered by IT Services: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/its/servicessupport/deskside/systemsupport
