You have a CDRW drive and a blank CDRW disk and you would like to prepare the disk so that it can be used like a large floppy disk (i.e. you will be able to save files to it and delete them etc).
Procedure
- If you have not yet installed Roxio CD Burning Software, double click on the Install Roxio Easy CD icon in the WBS-Applications window. This will disable you mouse and keyboard for a few minutes while the installation takes place. You will see the following message at the end of the installation. Restart your PC.
- After you have restarted your machine start Roxio Easy Cd by clicking Start > All programs > Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 > Project Selector. Accept the license agreement if required
- Put a blank CDRW into the CD drive.
- Select make a data CD > directCD
- Click the Format button. Any work currently stored on the CDRW disk will be lost. The process can take up to 45 minutes.
