Nicola has 10 years of research experience across a broad range of projects from enhancing competitiveness of SMEs in regeneration areas to 'fast fashion' and supply chain management and Lean implementation in Healthcare. Nicola has also taught a broad range of topics as a member of the Operations Management Group at WBS and has focussed teaching Lean to MBA cohorts over the last 2 years. Nicola is currently completing work on the Strategic Lean Implementation Methodology project, a cross disciplinary project that seeks to evaluate the impact of Lean in healthcare and the potential for incorporating modelling and simulation techniques alongside Lean.

As a research fellow for IGPM, Nicola is exploring knowledge brokerage of patient safety information related to elderly care by Middle Level Managers (MLMs).
