Corporate Partnerships

The activities of WFRI will be entirely supported through Corporate Sponsorships. We are currently developing a range of different relationships through which we can serve the financial community and WFRI may be funded in the future.


WARWICK FINANCE consists of:

  1. The Finance Group within Warwick Business School
  2. The Warwick Finance Research Institute (WFRI)
  3. The Research Centres within WFRI
    - The Financial Econometrics Research Centre (FERC)
    - The Financial Options Research Centre (FORC)

All research activities within WARWICK FINANCE are entirely dependent on external sponsorship.

Corporate partnerships provide the partner with privileged access to research activities and participation in a range of events, conferences, workshops etc that are organised under the WARWICK FINANCE umbrella.

  • WARWICK FINANCE is committed to the integration of academic research with the Finance Industry.

WFRI was established in December 2004; we are seeking seeking sponsorship of:

a) WFRI - we are looking for a number of corporations that will support the core activities of the Institute itself with a fixed subscription rate per annum.

b) The annual FRONTIERS IN FINANCE workshop which will attract the world’s experts in Finance to Warwick each year.

c) The Distinguished Visitors programme- with direct input from the visitor into the Corporate’ activities.

d) The WARWICK FINANCE Lecture– which will become a named lecture - a state of the art lecture delivered by a potential Nobel Prize winner .

e) The Warwick in London Seminar series.

  as well as the The Research Centres:- FORC and FERC through;

a) Sponsored Research Fellows working largely at Warwick on research programmes jointly determined by the corporate partner and the research centre – the research would be supervised by Warwick Professors or the Research Centre Directors and will imply their involvement as consultants with the partner. The joint development of proprietary research.

b) Core funding of the Research Centres at a fixed amount per annum providing participation at the Research Centre’s conferences and workshops and proprietary access to its research publications for a fixed period.
