Financial Options Research Centre
The Financial Options Research Centre (FORC) produces applied research on options and related instruments of direct benefit to the financial institutions which fund it. Both theoretical and empirical work is undertaken. The Centre produces research pre-prints and a regular newsletter. It runs research seminars and conferences. FORC also acts as a resource centre in the financial options field and maintains an extensive bibliographic library and database. Close contact is maintained between FORC's researchers and the Corporate Members. We are fortunate to be working in an area where there is the closest of relationships between leading academic research and the work of practitioners. Our Members directly influence the choice of research programme. While the main research function is to produce research for publication in journals and books, the Centre can also facilitate consultancy arrangements with staff for work with companies on a confidential basis.
