Kolja Johannsen

I am a PhD candidate in the finance group at Warwick Business School (University of Warwick). My research focus is on theoretical and empirical international finance with current projects on international asset pricing and foreign ownership. My job market paper investigates the consequences of assets' FX exposure for international portfolio allocation. I am on the market in 2018/2019 and will be available for interviews at the AFA/AEA, January 4-6th, 2019, in Atlanta.

During the second half of 2017, I was at Haas Business School, University of California Berkeley, as a visiting researcher. Before joining the PhD in Finance at WBS in 2014, I received a B.Sc. in International Economics at Eberhard Karls University Tübingen with semesters abroad at Lund University and the University of São Paulo as well as an M.Sc. in economics and international financial economics at the University of Warwick.
