Information Systems & Management Group

Welcome to the Information Systems & Management group at Warwick Business School.

The Information Systems & Management (iSM) group's distinctive research focus is cross-disciplinary, encompassing the interactions between people, organizations and information technologies which are an increasingly pervasive feature of advanced societies. iSM's research projects are on important and emerging topics within this field including:

* Technology-Mediated Collaboration across Boundaries;

* Creativity and Digital innovations;

* Social Media & Digial Workplaces;

* Outsourcing and new organizational forms.

The Group has over 10 full-time faculty and an active group of around 20 doctoral students in different stages of their PhD research.

The Group's research agenda reflects its positioning at the interface between conventional studies of IS and Organizational Studies and includes a close link with the IKON (Innovation, Knowledge & Organizational Networks) research centre.

iSM runs a highly successful specialist master's programme - the MSc in Information Systems & Management (MSISM) which has around 70 students. The group also offers a portfolio of modules for undergraduate programmes, other specialist masters programmes, Warwick MBA and Executive Education.
